III.Paloznaki Jazz és Bor Piknik

Jazz is oozing out of the Country House’s garden. Further down, at the bottom of the hill, Balaton is waving between the houses. At the bar, olaszrizling (famous local wine) pours in your glass, the sun is shining, and it feels good to get lost in the street chaos. In the evening music fills the air.

The Paloznak Jazz and Wine Picnic is all about quality music and gastronomy. In 2014 we organize this festival for the third time already. This year 15 internationally known performances will take place on 2 stages for two days, and the streets of Paloznak will turn into a colorful and lively mass.

In 2014  two real stars of the genre, DePhazz and Mezzoforte will play for us!

The picnic atmosphere will be provided by picnic baskets, a gastro market, the goodies of local farmers and the finest wines of the Homola Winery. During the day family programs will be responsible for the entertainment and in the evening light painting will bring color to the walls of the central buildings of Paloznak.

This village is the more and  more known jewelbox of the North shore of the lake Balaton, because it preserved its  untouched local village identity in its architecture, streets and atmosphere.

The Host of the festival is the Homola Winery, whose wine shop is open throughout the whole summer in the Paloznak Country House’s courtyard.

The event is co-organized by the Paloznak Local Government and part of its income will be  donated to the Snétberger Music Talent Center to support their activities.
